重要訊息
1. Admitted students either in Taiwan or abroad applying for the resident visa must submit a health certificate issued within the past three months either by one of the designated local hospitals in Taiwan or by a licensed foreign hospital or clinic. In the case of a foreign certificate, the applicant should have it authenticated by the ROC (Taiwan) Embassy, Consulate or Mission, which has jurisdiction over the place where the documents are issued.
2. Please do not enter Taiwan with Landing Visa, because Landing Visa cannot be extended or converted. Students have to leave Taiwan first and then apply for the visitor or resident visa again to enable to apply for the Alien Resident Certificate.
3. Some countries or areas may have other requirements or regulations of visa application. Please consult the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of China (Taiwan) or the diplomatic missions of Taiwan before application.
4. Alien Resident Card (ARC) is the temporary identity card of international students and it is the proof that international students can stay in Taiwan. Please keep ARC in the safe place and notice its expiration date.
